Inspired by the Festool CMS PS 300 module, parts to install the PS300 Jigsaw inverted and collect dust (barely) using a Festool Cleantec hose.
The plate is a shaperhub project.
In addition the model includes a connector to fix the plate to a shaper workstation.
To build
- Make sure all the parts fit or travel properly
- Screw the side rails (6x) in the plate using 6 Flat wood screws #8 1/2'' long (not 3/4 …)
- Install the M8 nuts in the plate (2x) and screw the workstation connector (6x) with Flat wood screws #8 3/4'' long
To install
- Remove any blade from the jigsaw
- Place the plate upside down
- Install the Jigsaw dust cover
- Connect the back adapter to the Jigsaw
- Position the jigsaw one the rails. The jigsaw must be flush within the plate.
- Install the front retaining panel. Screw all the 7 screws. Check the alignment with the plate:
- Install the locks from the other worstation add-on.
- Connect the cleantec hose
- Connect the plugit power cord
- Install the blade
