Description
Print with 100% infill, max. 0.4mm nozzle and 0.1mm layer height for sufficient strength and dimensional accuracy. Carbon filled PA, PC, PLA or PETG is recommended.
The photos show the rail printed in Extrudr GreenTec Pro Carbon, 0.1mm layer height and 0.4mm nozzle with 100% infill. It's rock solid and dimensionally accurate.
I've also printed it in Prusament PC Blend Carbon Fiber, which is also great. I'd suggest 0.15mm layer hight for that filament and snug support for the underside (e.g. use the "Smart fill" option in Prusa Slicer).
Version with countersunk screw holes added.
