Playdate ART7 Banana Grip

Now released! The ART7 Banana Grip for the Playdate! Originally exclusive for owners of ART7 1-bit Gallery for the Playdate, now free to all! This was inspired by the Warhol Banana as well as the Duct-taped-to-a-wall Miami Banana. It improves the Playdate's ergonomics for larger hands and is just youknow. Cool. 

The hole in the bottom right of the tray is there if you want to secure the playdate to the grip via monofilament or some other fine chain. I used this when lending out the Playdate a public showing. You could also attach cell phone charms there? Go nuts!

To secure the playdate, I used a sticky 2mm furniture pad as pictured, but anything that gives the system a bit of pressure on the top right should do to wedge it under the tray edges. The Playdate stays in via pressure and can be popped out easily by hand. I rotate it in very slightly starting from the bottom right. I have been using it this way for months with prototypes, and it has been very secure. Just make sure yours feels good before getting too wild. 

I print it at 90degrees on an FDM printer. Note that the tray tolerance is necessarily pretty tight so if you're using an SLA process that can shrink when curing, you'll need to scale properly.
