Description

Parametric Accessible Position Indicator with 3D Pointer

Designed to clamp on cylindrical knobs or shafts.

Eliminates parallax - put your washing machine in the right mode the first time, every time.

Also great to make cylindrical mode selection knobs accessible to blind people, as the pointer position can easily be determined by touch.

Designed for Koenic washing machine. OpenSCAD source file provided to allow adaption to other machines with different-diameter knobs.

Requires M3 screw and hex nut. Installs over existing knob (or on any cylindrical shaft).

I also made a smaller version to operate the friction brake on my birding tripod, and be able to feel its position without looking.
