Paper Towel Launcher and Stand

This device not only dispenses paper towels but also launches them. 

This model has a few large pieces segmented to be printed in the volume of the Bambu X1c and requires some additional parts to build. You will need an assortment of m4 screws with counter sink heads and some heavy duty rubber bands. All parts can be printed without supports.

When this device is configured to dispense it sits in the base and paoer towels can be torn from the slit in the side of the basket. 

When it is configured for launch remove the lid and detach from base. Grip the for handle with one hand and then pull back the basket with the other like a sling shot.

To assemble download and print the pieces. If you have a Bambu x1c you can use the provided 3mf file that has several plates laid put with the parts in optimal orientations.

Print the base and three legs. Using two 5mm mlM4 screws for each leg secure them to the base.

Print the butt and three shaft sections. Attach the four pieces using 6x5mm and 12x3mm M4 screws.

Print the greeble basket, retraction grip, 2x retraction handles, hooked bar and basket guide. Using 3x10mm M4 screws attach the basket guide to the basket. Using 4x10mm M4 screws attach the retraction handles to the basket. Insert the retraction grip between the handles and secure with 4x10mm M4 screws. Lastly attach the hooked bar to the back of the basket with 2x5mm M4 screws.

Insert the basket into the groove of the shaft with the retraction grip towards the butt.

Print the fork and fore grip. Attach the fork to the shaft using 2x5mm M4 screws. Use a 5mm M4 to secure the fore grip to the fork.

Loop several rubber bands from each arm of the fork to the hooked bar.

Print the basket lid, dowel and lid grip. Attach the grip to the lid using 2x5mm M4 bolts.

Place the butt in the base to prepare for dispensing towels. Place roll in basket and feed towel through slit. Place lid over basket. ENJOY!

To launch remove lid and detach from base. Hold the fire grip with one hand and use the other to retract the basket. Point towards the mess with an arc and release the basket.
