Threaded Dust Extraction Hose Fitting

Fitting used to connect my 1.5inch compound mitre saw hose to 2inch vacuum port.

Purchased a 1.5inch wire-reinforced hose from a local supplier (https://www.timbecon.com.au/dust-hose-1-1-2in-x-3m-length) and needed a way to firmly connect it to my shop vacuum.

This fitting was designed with a reverse thread to firmly screw onto the wire-reinforced hose and a sloped ID at the other end to create a friction-fit to the 2inch shop vacuum port.  The threaded side has a flange to act as a hose stop.

The pitch of the wire reinforcing the hose is 0.5in/12.8mm per revolution, but the internal thread should accommodate some variation in manufacturer tolerances in similar types of hoses.

In non-Freedom Units, the wire-reinforced hose OD is approximately 44mm, and the other side ID is 52mm which narrows to approximately 50mm to ensure a good friction fit.

I printed this without any supports with the threaded end (narrowest ID) facing upwards.
