Description
This kitchen hanger is designed to add a wooden rod to hang whatever is needed.
The model is available in two variants:
1) "Permanent" is ready for use when the rod does not need to be removed frequently, for example as a drying rack for a dish cloth.
2) "Removable" is great for hanging a roll of kitchen towels, for example, as the rod can be easily removed.
My original model is designed for a 10 mm diameter rod. But if you have another rod at hand, don't despair! You can easily adjust the model parameters with the Onshape Confugurator. You do not need to install anything, you even do not need to create any account. Everything can be done online. Download the PDF file for the instructions.
PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS
The model is full, if you want to achieve the effect as in the photo, you have to expose the infill in the slicer. To do so, set the top and bottom layers to zero and then choose the pattern and fill density to your liking (I have used 20% Honeycomb).
I also recommend increasing the number of perimeters (I used up to 7).
It is recommended to print the version with removable rod with PETG rather than PLA, as you need some flexibility to snap the rod into place.
