Irwin Quick-Grip pad / stopper / rubber / shoe / rubber

The Irwin® Quick-Grip® is one of my favourite tools in the shed and can take some serious abuse. The ones I bought were second hand, and although in good condition, the rubber pads were looking a bit sad, and one of them was missing rubber pads altogether.

I quickly put together a model to suit the model with a 20 mm x 30 mm jaw face.

I put into the model a slight recess for the jaws to sit so that the pad is retained on the jaws, which is, in my opinion a slight improvement on the original which didn't have any form of retention, rather relying on friction alone.

I intend to print these with soft FLEX filament with 100% infill so they can take some clamping pressure. Looking forward to using my Irwin clamps for years to come !
