Description
I designed this model to squeeze a bit more performance out of the Alpenföhn Black Ridge CPU cooler in the FormD T1 v2 case. The duct prevents re-circulation and ingestion of hot air into the cooler and can provide some passive cooling using the negative pressure provided by the case exhaust fans.
The duct slips over the cooler's outer perimeter and stays in place with a friction fit. The design provides about +/-3mm of height adjustment by sliding it up or down on the cooler.
The flared duct provides a bit more open area to reduce pressure drop across ventilated side panels.
The 2mm and 7mm high straight versions are more compatible in space-limited applications.
