Description
I bought an 2020 extrusion open case. Now I want a way to hold my SATA SSDs so that I can quickly and easily swap them. So here's a solution that you can print within 2 hours.
Compatible with 100x70x7mm 2.5" SATA drives.
First, purchase a right-angle SATA adapter. I bought mine from Amazon. Make sure the two holes on the adapter are of the same 3mm size. If you want easier insertion/removal of the drive, cut the 3 tabs on the inside of the female side of the SATA connector flush with a razor blade.
You will also need TWO sets of M3x16mm hex screws and nuts. [Link]
Print the L and R parts and attach them to the adapter with the screw and nuts, and then you can slide the assembly into the extrusion.

Print the parts with the flat side facing down. Turn off support.
