Description
Remix of "[a]_Idler_Cam_Lock_x2.STL" from the Voron Design GitHub page.
The original V0.2 cam lock, while it looked good, had a fragile driver slot and couldn't be tightened down much without risking breakage. Also tried the V02r1 version with the hex socket and personally didn't get on well with it.
Even though I can't stand slotted screws, this made the most sense for its simplicity. The slot is thicker to allow use of a flat screwdriver or other tool to lock the tophat, while a small dot indicates its orientation clearly (up for open, right for locked.) The slot is angled at 57° like the Voron logo lines, so it keeps at least a little of the theme.
The wide version is for larger drivers / small washers / thumbnail (if desperate.)
The narrower version should be stronger and looks a little neater, but only works with a tool up to about 6mm wide.
Print with 4 perimeters and plenty of infill for strength.
