Description
This is a set of different supports and braces that can be used to prevent sagging of RTX 4080 & 4090 Founders Edition GPU's in the FormD T1 v2 (and v2.1). Â
The two braces (short & long) attach to the case spine and provide support for the font of the card when the case is oriented in the most common position (horizontal with case fans on top). Â The short brace can be installed without any component disassembly with a single small (4" / 100mm) ziptie or M3 screw + nut. Â The long brace is secured by removing the existing screw holding the PSU frame to the spine and replacing with a CSM3-8 screw.
The two full support variants completely fix the front of the GPU to the front case panel and prevent movement in the X, Y, and Z directions. Â These are the most secure option and provide protection when moving or traveling with the case. Â The 1- and 2-piece supports both attach to the GPU with two CSM3-5 screws and to the case with two or three CSM3-8 (up to CSM3-12 length) screws. Â To install these supports, stand the case upright, unscrew the case front panel from the frame, and shift it aside to allow access to the GPU front. Â Attach the mono support or 2-piece support post to the GPU. Â If using the 2-piece design, attach the larger support portion to the front panel using the holes shown in the photos. Â Align and carefully replace the front panel on the frame.Â
06/OCT/2023 Update: Â Added small cutout to the Support Bracket and Mono Support models for compatibility with the v2.1 two-tone front panel design.
