Description
Plex logo in a 40mm thick enclosure with the option to add an LED strip to make the logo light up. Files attached to mix and match exactly how you want. Huge credits to Pete from shurdle.com for his excellent guide: https://youtu.be/12k0U7EH2lg
There are no tolerances involved with this print, because it's supposed to be printed as large as possible, which helps with tight tolerances. You might want to decrease the size of the back a tiny bit like 0.99 instead of 1 scale.
Two holes at the back for wall mounting requires you to cut 0.1mm off the back, which won't make any difference to the rigidity. If you don't want to wall mount it, don't cut off the 0.1mm, otherwise LED light will shine through. Use the cut feature of your slicer (or use an stl/3mf editor to remove 0.1mm). Example:
I also added a 4mm diameter hole on each side for the cable that runs to the LEDs. This should give an idea how the “mechanism” is supposed to work:
Use a piece of electrical tape on the other side, if you don't plan on using both sides. Preferably from the inside, perhaps?
