Yet another fumes extractor + LED lamp

This is a fume extractor (yes, one more !) with LED strip embeded to act as a lamp.

I plan to build an articulated arm to mount it. So there is some M4 holes on a face.

Be careful when soldering : fan and LED are polarized !

The front part can be 3D printed (use the OBJ file) or laser-cut (use the SVG)

I attached the FreeCAD file : feedback & remix are welcome !

BOM

• 1x 120mm fan (12V, 25mm) + 4 screws
• 4x ~120mm white LED stripes (12V)
• 5x M3 screw (what you have between 8 and 20mm long)
• 2x small sliding switches
• 1x female 2.1mm DC plug (panel-mount)
• some wires (rated for 400mA at least)
