Airsoft 40mm safety cap

The mighty 40Mike Airsoft grenade comes with a rubber cap, used to protect the “primer” from being pressed by accident - This allows a “make safe” procedure on the grenade, a good idea (and often actually mandatory) before entering the Offzone/Safezone. It is also useful during the game, especially, if you're crawling through brush frequently - the probability of a random stick striking the pin is low, but never zero, don't ask…

One of my original caps disintegrated on the last event, so I modelled a replacement. Prints well from Flexfill/TPU, upright, with Brim, without support (see picture), should fit different  40mm grenades as well.

The “B” version omits the reinforcing washer of the original design, and is thus meant for harder fillaments. (fit not tested, might need slight upscale).
