Cheap Filter Replacement [Severin HV 7146]

Added a reworked version of the replacement filter which provides:

• easier assembly and use of filter material
• more stable

This is an easy to maintain, yet cheap alternative to frequently buy a new hepa filter for the “Severin HV 7146”. Might fit with other models too.

Yes, you can wash the original filter with water, but still its getting more and more clogged.

All you need is an old original filter. Seperate the parts from each other, you will only need the “connection part” as shown in the picture. (removing the hepa filter may take some time since its glued in).

After that, you can reuse the “connection part” with the printed parts and a filter mat of your choice. Just make sure it is dustproof. (140mm in diameter)

Important Notes:

• Make sure, there are no holes uncovered with the filter mat after assembly.
• dont use the vaccum for cleaning liquids with this replacement!
