Ever wanted to create something big with your 3D printer ?
Create a football or any other platonic solid from longdring straws.
e.g.

In case of the Football these are the instructions
- You need 60 corners, so print the item 6 times
- The "root" of the joint is where 6 hexagons meet
- the "branches" of ther joint form the angle needed for the pentagon
- the angle between root and a branch form the angle needed for the hexagon
In case of many other solids documented @ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archimedean_solid :
- look into straweder.scad
- enable the correct joint
- print it so often until the solid is complete
Looking forward to get photos
