Description
Created this from one of the retract bases that came with the 3DLabPrint Vought F4U Corsair 1.9 m printable RC plane: Vought F4U Corsair – 3DLabPrint, so it is technically a remix of that base (which is only available from 3DLabPrint).
None of the supplied retract base models fit the retracts for the FMS Corsair 1700 mm V3 (90 degree rotation), so I took the one that was closest and butchered it in Tinkercad to fit hole pattern, width, etc. Retract now fits fine, but I needed longer struts than supplied with the FMS retract to make the existing wheel well work. I used 130 mm long struts from Hobbyking. You will have to print two with the second one mirrored.
It is holding up OK so far with about a dozen landings.
As RCbuilder pointed out, the internal structure got lost when importing into Tinkercad, so you will have to use some infill and 2+ perimeters/walls to give it strength.
