Aerobar End Caps

Designed to replace the rounded end caps of the Profile Design T2+ aero bar. http://www.profile-design.com/profile-design/products/aerobars/aluminum-aerobars/t2-plus.html

My aero bars end caps got roughed up a bit from an accident so designed this as a replacement. I will post pictures soon.

*added the skp files so its easier for others to edit/modify.

design notes:

v5: I had to take a knife and cut down the top 2 rings a little bit to make it fit better. the tip was also very pointy to where it seemed like a hazard. so had to trim that down with a knife as well.

v6: shrank rings slightly, rounded the tip.added an internal structure to hold top ring on better.

v7: made it so it could print without supports, forgot to shrink rings though so they still may need cut down with a knife.

Instructions

Print 2 of these (for a matching pair).

You may need to adjust the size of the part depending on your aero bar. or trim down the holding rings with a knife.

*I have not tested version 6 yet.

*I printed version 7 and the tip of it got screwed up due to my printer hating me (began to air print at the tip(because the a/c was on/hitting it).

I Printed v7 with supports just for the top ring, and the support was super easy to remove unlike version 5.
