Bosch GCM8SJL circular saw dust extraction 60mm hose adapter

This is my second derivative work from Rupert's original already - and, although there is not much left of his original design I want to give credit where it is due.

If you really want to max out the throughput and cleaning power of the dual-duct sawdust intake on the GCM8-SJL I recommend to combine it with this high-quality 60mm sawdust hose.

Compared to the original design I changed the tube angle to 58° and the sideways angle to 45° down. I increased its inner diameter as much as possible. I also modified the click-in-flaps to be stronger and stick out a bit more, because the original design did not plug in firmly enough and came off by itself a few times.

The part in the pictures has been printed with NO SUPPORT.

I would also like to recommend my cheap cyclone dust extractor project - just in case you are still searching for something to stick the other end of that hose to :-)

If those 60mm seem to be just a bit too much for your taste, take a look at my adaptors for 40mm and 50mm hoses :-)

Supports: No
Resolution: 0.15
Infill: 15%
Filament: Patona PLA white 

Notes: 

Because of the steep overhang and for stability I recommend to take the time to print this in 0.1mm layer height.
If you still want to cheat a little, set Cura to 0.2mm and activate the option "Use adaptive layers" with step size 0.02 and max variation 0.1. That will result in most layers being printed in 0.1 but in the upright part, some will be 0.2, so you save some printing time.

I strongly recommend to use a brim around the base to prevent the part from coming off.

If your printer has a unidirectional part cooling fan, take care to turn the overhang part (the upper tube) on the build plate so that it points towards your cooling fan duct. The part fan should be turned on well beyond 50%. from layer 2 or 3.

If you are doing everything right, this part prints totally ok with NO support enabled.
