Description
This type of power meter is commonly used in Finland and other Nordic countries.
I needed to measure my power consumption and created this sensor for Home Assistant. It utilizes a simple ESPHome pulse counter with an ESP8266. I used an IR-receiver from a RGB led controller as a quick workaround since I didn't have a proper photo diode, but it performed well.
To ensure accurate measurement of kWh consumption only, I recommend covering the kvarh LED with some tape.
