Screw Wall Storage system: See below for videos and a demonstration of Screw Wall vs Press fit systems. Make sure to scroll down for videos!
April 2026 update! I have done a colab with shuylab drawer systems! Its gridfinity 5x4x6U and they attach to the Screw Wall. They can be removed and re-inserted when you want them back on the wall. The outside housing is availabe here and all the other parts to the system are available here.
Print the walls at 20% infil, 3 layers. You can use PLA, or really any type of filament.
Print the Screws at 100% infil and if you are going to mount more than 15 pounds, I reccomend the non press fit anchors to screw into the wall (see below).
The press fit mount is used for most situations. (pic below)
I use #2 Screws to mount them to the wall.
There are hundreds of different designs, and I'm creating about 20-30 new designs every month.
If you have a tool that needs mounting or an idea for a mount point, please just message me.
Screw Wall Lite is for weights less than 4 pounds. The plates will print much faster (about 1/2 the time). I still suggest 100% infil on the screws. All of the rest of the SW hangers will fit.
The Screw Wall V2 remains the preferred version, with the Screw Wall Lite offering a lighter and faster-to-print alternative. I’ve created just about every type of storage wall you could imagine—tool holders, bins, flat panels, Gridfinity setups, and even garden equipment mounts. I’ve also seen the Screw Wall used creatively in kitchens to organize mason jars and pantry tools. With the addition of 3D-printed brackets, you can even turn the Screw Wall into a fully three-dimensional system.
I just added a shelving bracket that I designed to look as good as it holds a shelf. I tested about 40 pounds per two brackets.
