Highsider mirror mount

Mounting the mirrors to the handlebars outer side, i figured they are always covered by my forearms obstructing the rear view. If the mirrors are mounted on the handlebars middle instead, they work like intended. 

Printed out of ABS and it works fine. Writing this, the mount lasted allready 2 ½ years with frequent use during all season.

The 5 original bolts can be used again and bolted directly in to the mount without heat set insert. The mount itself is intended to be fixed in place with M3 bolts. 

Please note: If you have the slightest doubt about your print lasting in the harsh road environment, DONT USE IT. Loosing your heavy mirror is a real concern and might cause serious injury. Immagine the mirror coming loose, geting entangeled in your chain drive, causing your bike careening out of control. You flying off and geting in the oncoming trafic. You are lucky though and landing right on some strangers truck bed. He does notice but doesnt stop and is carrying you far out of the towns perimeters. You are waking up in some sort of strange little harbour, being yelled at by some loadmaster in a language you dont understand. because of your bad concussion you loose concience again and wake up some time later, surrounded by strange people forcing you to clean some public areas. The overseer doesnt care who you are and where you came from, neither doesnt he speak your language. You have no idea where you are but thats your life now. do you want that? do you trust your 3D printer really that much?
