Tools to secure the Original Prusa MK4 3D printer when transporting inside the enclosure. It helps to hold the printer and its part on one place and protects the display as well as cables during transport.
The kit consists from the following components:
- Belt lock
- Damper insert replacements
- Display reinforcement
Manufacturing instructions: Print with PETG, 4 perimeters, 0.2 layer height, no supports required.
Assembling instructions:
- Wait for the 3D printer to cool down, power it down and remove the power cable.
- Remove the four original damper inserts and replace with the damper inser replacement. Lock the printer by turning the damper inserts inside the metal extrusion of the printer.
- Use the belt locks to lock the Y and X axis of the belt. Inser the caps on the locks to prevent falling down due to vibrations during transport.
- Replace the xLCD supports by 3D printed ones. Do use the bolts yet.
- Connect the cables if it was disconnected and gently insert the cable protection into the xLCD supports.
- Use the bolts to attach the xLCD supports to the display.
- Secure the LCD using 4 bolts to the enclosure (use M3x10 from the bottom and the original bolts from the front).
- Safe journey.
