Description
This wall mount for hanging my Bosch GRO 12V rotary tool was inspired by another similar mount I saw here on Printables. I liked the basic idea of that one, but I wanted something a little beefier, that was better designed for printing in the horizontal orientation for best strength.
The forks that hold the tool are intended to be a close fit. The ring at the end of the tool where they interface is rubberized plastic, so it has a little give to it. My initial version had a slight amount of clearance designed into it, and I found it to be not very secure. So the published file fits the tool exactly, at least it is intended to. I used Polymaker ABS in my Voron; you may find it desirable to scale slightly to get the fit you want with your material and settings.
I used a 0.6mm nozzle and 0.3mm layer height, 4 perimeters and 20% infill. That's probably overkill, but if the mount breaks, the tool falls and most likely breaks as well. So trying to skimp on material is a mistake. The screw holes are optimized for printing at the 0.3mm layer height, so you may or may not notice weirdness if you deviate from that. It should be printed in the same orientation in which it will be mounted. Printed on its back it would not be as strong, since the forks would be prone to breaking at the layer lines.
