Description
Hello there!
As I was upgrading my manufacturer sound system in my BMW E46 I noticed the original speaker covers killed a lot of the sound. After some research speaker covers with honeycomb design turned out as a good choice, as its letting flow through more air and thus more soundwaves (so I read at least).
I wanted to be a bit creative and made these DIY choose your own design speaker covers!
They come in 140 mm outer diameter and the holders are made to fit a BMW E46 Compact front speaker system, but should match with any other manufacturer using 140 mm outer diameter for speaker covers.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS + TIPS
I glued mine with Alubutyl (aluminium foil with bitumen-sticky side underneath) into the place of the original speaker covers into the door. Covered all plastic with foam in case of the speaker moving to close to the speaker cover while playing music.
Extra tip: If you have a slightly curvy door interior like I do, you can heat the speaker cover carefully with a hairdryer and press it in place. It will stay curved like that after cooling (unless you reheat it again).
