Description
**UPDATE August 23, 2023**
Users reported that in some cases there isn't enough clearance between the Pixelblaze and the lid for the button to operate properly, and it can be triggered accidentally by tightening the screws. , I have added extra versions of the case body whose name ends in “Extra Clearance”. These versions are 1 mm taller than the original design, and should eliminate this issue.
** End Update **
A simple protective case for the Pixelblaze V3 board that allows access to the screw terminals. The 3D printed button fits inside the corresponding hole in the lid, and when pushed, presses the button on the Pixelblaze board. 10mm or 12mm M2 screws and nuts hold the lid onto the case.
In addition to the basic case, there is a version which helps provide strain relief for the wires coming out of the screw terminals by clamping the wires between the lid and the case.
I successfully printed in PLA, but would recommend PETG for the version with strain relief as the screws will put tension on the thin lid.
