Description
I love Bento Boxes for packing up my lunch for work. It's a fun way to prepare food, do some combinations etc. But there is one problem, I don't want my food to mix with something else I want to put inside, like some sauce, or nuts for snack. I'm using Monbento boxes but they're all the same size. At least it should be. I wanted to buy some cups, containers or dividers for my box but I'm not paying 5-10$ for few grams of plastic. So I've designed these ones to fit my bento box and decided to share it with everybody.
If it somehow doesn't fit you own particular box, I'm also sharing the original STEP files I've drew so you can modify it as you wish.
This is not a 1:1 copy, it looks different, it's "my own design” and it should fit without any problems. If not, rescale on slicer or change parameters inside the STEP file.
FOOD SAFETY:
So about the food safety of this. It depends on multiple factors. Which filament you are going to use, what nozzle you are using and mostly, what type of food you wanna store inside. Generally if you use PLA and steel nozzle you are fine, but there is one thing. And that are the layer lines. Microorganisms, viruses and bacteria can live inside even after good cleaning. So I HIGHLY recommend to NOT put anything liquid, moist or something. Use it only for dry foods. Like nuts, cereals, maybe some berries or some already packed food. I can't tell you what to do, probably nothing will happen, you won't poison yourself or something, but just for my own peace of mind I'm telling you this one more and last time: USE WITH FOOD ONLY ON YOUR OWN RISK!
