Description
I had the problem that the gutter stopper we bought was much too simple and let a lot of small leaves through. This meant that our rain collector kept getting clogged and I had to remove and clean it.
When I was thinking about how I could rebuild the purchased solution with a denser net, I had the idea to develop a rainwater stopper instead, which could simply be pushed into the pipe. The result looks very promising and I would like to share it with you.
Of course, it doesn't prevent leaves from falling into the gutter (there are other solutions for that, but they don't make sense for me), but you can quickly remove the leaves from where they collect - so it's suitable for me.
If this is also something for you, I recommend printing in PETG due to the weather. If the closed surface is at the bottom of the print bed, it can be printed without supports (you can ignore the error message regarding collapsing overhangs in Prusaslicer here).
Printing time is a little more than two hours. Currently it has an outer diameter of 54mm and a height of 80mm - but with a little knowledge you can adjust this in an stl editing programme of your choice if necessary.
Enjoy it and feel free to give me feedback!
