USB Protector / Isolator Case with 4 Channels

This is a snap-fit case for the 10€ galvanic USB protector PCBA you can source from China. With this gadget you can be sure not to tinker-blow your valuable USB ports with an unmindful failure in your DIY electronic prototypes. There is an option to externally power the four downstream ports but up to approx. 100mA you can power from the internal DC/DC converter. The PCBA can be screwed directly in the case as the mounting holes are threaded.

In addition to both print parts you need

• USB isolator from Ali Express, Amazon or similar
• 4 M3 x 5mm screws

Printing Parameters

• print in 0.2 or 0.3mm layer height
• little support only needed for the USB-B host connector (organic is best)
• PLA or PETG is good
