Switch game container for 8 games

The clearances are pretty tight in this model so you may need to do some tweaking of print settings to get the slots to work ok for you.

If you would like to test your print settings and verify that the slot design works for you without printing the full model just print the slot-tolerance-test.3mf first which is a minimal test piece of a slot for a single Switch cartridge.

The base works by itself (if you don't want to print the lid/top).

I have tested printing this from PLA with 0.2 mm layer height and that worked good.

Want to make a remix?

If you want to make your own design based on my snap fit mechanism for the game cartridge feel free to use the slot-cad-cut-tool.3mf model as a cutting tool in CAD to cut out the slot mechanism from a solid body. If you do so, I'd love it if you could post it as a remix.

Inspiration

This design was inspired by Nintendo Switch Game Holder (by TinyBoat) but as that was a bit too loose (at least on my printer with my settings) and I had some ideas for improved design I made my own similar design from scratch in Fusion 360.
