Socket Sock / Sleeve

Hey Team,

A quick little project printed in TPU which provides a layer of protection between sockets and your vehicle wheels.

I've printed these out of TPU and made them slightly undersize so they are a good tight fit.

Previously I was wrapping sockets with electrical tape to achieve a similar result, however now with 3D printing, this is a dead easy upgrade.

If you have a set of ‘long’ sockets made in Taiwan there is a good chance these will fit yours too. Personally here in Australia they carry the ‘Crescent’ brand.

For my vehicles I use a 19mm and 21mm for my vehicles, but you may be able to use Prusa Slicer to scale these to suit your sockets.
