Description
I often find I never have an oversized Pirate Ninja Star when I need one. And if you print this Kenmore Freezer Drain Screen (which replaces Kenmore part number 253.23429100) at, like, 250% or larger, you will, indeed, have yourself a mostly safe pirate ninja star suitable for throwing at inanimate objects, because you're not a monster.
If, on the other hand, you want to print this boring thing at 100%, you'll be happy to know that it will likely save you over $40.00 worth of parts, shipping, handling and tax. If you need one. Do you have a Kenmore freezer, and your freezer drain screen is broken or bent? This happens more often than you think, as the freezer goes through countless thaw and refreeze ("auto-defrost") cycles over the years…or in my case decades, I guess?
So, if that part is broke, and you look it up online, and you see Kenmore part number 253.23429100 or equivalent, and it looks like this, I'll be this is what you need. It's probably a few pennies worth of plastic.
Question: why is it a PIRATE ninja star? Well, if you look at the photo of me holding the star, you can see that I have a regular-sized print over my eye, which looks like a pirate eye patch.
As you can see in the black and white image, the filter printed (right) looks identical to the original piece (left) aside from the layer lines. In fact, printing on my Bambu Lab X1CC looks even better!
If you look at the picture with the freezer drain screen installed, you'll see it fits perfectly.
As always, I'm an open book: ask your questions, make your suggestions, comment about the design, or even how cute I look in a pirate eye patch. Dealer's choice! I also love seeing makes, so if you make this, please grab a picture, and share it as a make!
