Description

I needed a different spool mount due to my workspace configuration.  This spool holder uses bearings for smooth operation and allows me to load the spool from the front of the printer.  The filament runout sensor can be mounted directly on the spool holder as well.

I printed this using PETG with 10% gyroid pattern infill, however you may be able to print it with PLA with a higher infill percentage.  I will report after some usage if I need to redo with a higher infill as 10% may be too weak.

All parts except the 608-2RS bearings (quantity 2) can be printed.

There are three stl files included.  Print the main part, the roller, and two pins.  You may need to use a screwdriver to wedge the roller assembly (bearings, pins, and roller) into the main part.

I designed this to be printed without any supports.
