MagSafe Charger Stand (for iPhone StandBy Mode)

I got excited about Apple iOS StandBy Mode and designed a stand with the following in mind:

• Minimalistic, functional design, compatible with any iPhone model.
• Suitable for desks (as companion) and bedside tables (as alarm clock).
• Customizable design to fit it into surroundings.
• Fast and easy to print.

How to use it

1. Insert your MagSafe charger into the slot.
2. Loop the cable through the back hole.
3. Mount your iPhone horizontally to initiate StandBy on iPhones running iOS 17 or later.

Printing & Assembling

I printed the parts with PLA with 0.2mm layer height, 2 perimeters and 10-15% infill, no supports.

The Backplate can be pressfit into the Base and shouldn't need glue. That way, you can also change the backplate color later again.
