Troy-Bilt Snowblower Axle Bushing

This is a replacement for MTD 1739470 Flange Bearing. This is the axle bearing block that wears out and causes your snowblower drive chain to keep coming off. When there is too much play in the bushing the slop causes the gear to come out of alignment. Also, on an older snowblower the snowblower's chain is probably stretched making it already too loose.

The bushings are over $20 each so I made these for myself. I made mine out of nylon. They work well. I also offset the axle hole 2mm to take the slack out of the chain to help keep it from falling off. There are two models included here. One with the standard axle hole in the center and one has the axle hole offset by 2mm.

I recommend nylon at 80% infill or more.
