REVOLving cable mount - lockpin edition

February 8, 2021
Description
This is the latest iteration of my revolving cable mount. The mount is completely modular, parts are fitting to each other with dovetails. There is a back rail which provides further support for the assembled parts.
The mount has the following components:
Female
This part is universal, all male parts fits to the same female component. The female body has three vertical cutouts inside to provide support of the lockpins on the male parts.
All female part has a 4 mm countersunk screw mount slot.
Male
There are 3*2 different versions: 4.8, 6.0 and 8.0 inner diameter iterations with and without lockpins. The ones with the lockpins are a bit taller to make installation easier. When you install the ones with the lockpins the pins should be on the top so the gravity "locks" the male parts in place.
End male and End female
Thin parts for closing female chain.
DIN rail spring
A special part which let you to install the set on a DIN rail.
Backrails
Three different iterations to assemble 4, 6 and 8 block long mounts.
The backrails are 24 mm tall - tall enough to use a double sided tape if you want to glue them somewhere.
I designed backrails with front dovetails so in case if you would need an extra long mount you can merge them - just feel free to adjust the parameters in the design and export the rails according to your needs.
I have modeled the entire stuff as parametric as I could using Autodesk Fusion 360. As I'm using the free hobby license Autodesk does not let me to provide a download link but you can get the .f3d file from my server: http://penoff.hu/Fusion360/REVOLving%20cable%20mount%20-%20180%20degree%20lock%20edit%20v24.f3d
Print instructions
All parts can be printed without supports.
