Filament Spool Roller Holder

This is a collection of 2 different mods to the Roller Spool Holder made by M1324.

I liked the overall roller part but did not like the mounting options or strength of the base so I rebuilt it in 3 ways.

1. Made the base much stronger so that there is less chance of cracking/breaking at the joint
2. Made a version where you can install in on the top (horizontal) 2020 extrusion using 1 m3 TNut
3. Made a different version where you can install it on the top (horizontal) 2020 extrusion using no tools (fixed 2 main stress points indicated in the picture taken before the improvements)

To build you will need a few things

1. 2 M3x10 Bolts (SHCS) – You can use longer but they may start cutting into the inner plastic which stops the heat inserts… may/may not cause a problem in the future
2. 2x 608 bearings
3. m3 T-nut and m3x16-20 SHCS (could be shorter/longer depending on your T-Nut)
