Application / Functions

A multipurpose cover box for all sorts of electronics. The goal was to fit standard PCB’s which can drive various objects, actuators or devices. It needed to be accessible easily, have access port for power or data cables, cool the contents and be mountable horizontally as well as vertically.

Features

• Removable top cover with hex screws
• Passive cooling holes in the sides of the box
• Mounting holes on top and bottom
• Bottom holes for power / data cables

Future improvements

Depending on the specific applications, different updates will be applied:

• Removal of mounting holes outside to inside the box
• Inserting custom mounting brackets for specific PCB’s
• Reducing box height if possible
• Inserting standoff’s inside to more easily mount PCB’s
• …
