Description
While the KP3S Pro V2 is a solid budget printer, I felt mine was missing something: cat ears on the toolhead. So I made some. These are easy to print, easy to install, and look adorable. Uwu.
I printed mine using 2 perimeters and 15% infill. Since this part isn't touching anything hot, and doesn't bear any loads, you can print it out of anything you like. If you plan to enclose your printer, however, you probably don't want to use PLA, as that can soften at enclosure temperatures.
I also noticed that, with more perimeters and stiffer filaments, the ears get difficult to flex to fit around the toolhead: if this happens, use fewer perimeters and less infill.
These should snap into place with a slight bend. They won't be perfectly snug, either on top or the sides: this is normal, to take into account the top sticker (which is quite thick and I didn't want to remove) or the differences in tolerances for the sides. I found that it still sits quite snugly though, so it should work OK.
