Almost everyone who has ever installed a robotic lawnmower knows the good advice to plan a reserve loop at the perimeter wire in several places to make any repairs or changes easier.

Usually this is done with a wire loop in the corners, but this also involves risks. After I had the boundary wire cut every now and then during gardening work, I thought of this improvment, which places the spare wire invisibly and safely in the ground.  

The slim box (only 7mm  in total) holds at least 50cm of extra wire (2.4 mm), is quickly installed by simply sinking into the ground. The gap between the wires at the top is so small that it does not affect the robotic lawnmower in any way. The loop at the bottom allows the length to be varied.

With the additional cover, the cable is fully protected from dirt or anything else. 

Printed in eye-catching filament, it is easy to find even after a long time in the ground. In addition, a neodymium magnet (8x3 mm) can also be used, which, with the appropriate equipment, makes it even easier to find.

Fast jeder der schon mal einen Rasenroboter installiert hat,  kennt den guten Ratschlag beim Begrenzungsdraht an mehreren Stellen eine Reserveschleife einzuplanen, um etwaige Reparaturen oder Änderungen einfacher vorzunehmen. 

Meist wird dies mit einer Drahtschlaufen in den Ecken realisiert, die allerdings auch Risiken bergen. Nachdem mir bei Gartenarbeiten immer mal wieder das Begrenzungskabel durchtrennt wurde,  habe ich mir diese Verbesserung überlegt, die den Reservedraht unsichtbar und sicher in der Boden verlegt.  

Die schmale Box (nur 7 mm insgesamt) fasst mindestens 50cm Extradraht (2,4 mm) , ist schnell installiert indem es sich einfach im Boden versenken lässt. Der Spalt zwischen den Drähten an der Oberseite ist so gering, das es den Rasenroboter in keinster weise beeinflußt . Durch die Schlaufe am unteren Ende lässt sich die Länge variieren.

Mit der zusätzlichen  Abdeckung ist das Kabel vollständig vor Schmutz oder anderem geschützt.

In auffälligem Filament gedruckt ist sie auch nach längerer Zeit im Boden leicht wiederzufinden. Zusätzlich kann auch ein Neodymmagnet (8x3 mm) eingesetzt werden, der mit entsprechenden Equipment das Auffinden noch weiter vereinfacht.
