Microphone stand for table

I made this small mic stand for a conference. The idea was to handle the cables and hide them a bit, and also blend the stand as a vase or simple minimalistic sculpture. I have made six of these. They are stable enough, but I will tape the cable to the table just in case.

The mic holder is for condensator microphones, approximately 22 mm in diameter. 

I allready have an idea for an upgrade to the design, combining mic stand with a tablet stand. 

After the conference I will keep one of the stands on my desktop for my homestudio.
