Description
This is a replacement trim piece for a vintage midcentury tension rod lamp. In the case of my lamp, there are two spotlights that each have this piece screwed on to the back of the fiberglass lampshades. I've seen other lamps that have 1-3 spotlights with similarly shaped trim pieces. I modeled this using an existing trim piece and my calipers.
To affix it I heated up a threaded brass insert with a torch and press-fit it into the printed trim, then the piece screws on to the back of the lamp. The piece has been painted with brown acrylic paint in the photos.
