This is my Frankenstein Drybox setup remixing from a few people. This is not pretty or perfect but it works and functions like I want it. I'm just sharing what functionally works for me.
update: humidity in room 58% but in the passive Drybox 15%
THE TUB:
THE PVC:
- Sch 40 PVC - 1" diameter - cut to length 13 3/8" or 340mm. Cut 2 pieces.
THE FILES:
- DRYBOX-Base-PVC…stl - this is the pvc holder. I extended the footing a bit to give the silica box a base to rest on each end of the Sterilite box and added a few edges to keep the boxes in place. Print 2.
- SilicaBox.stl - base box. fits real nice and keeps the 2 bases in place. great snug fit. dimensions 252x96x35mm. Only mod was the sizing. Print 2.
- SilicaLid.stl - lid for base box. I printed it but don't use it now. I recommend not printing these but if you want a cleaner look, then go for it.
- All these files print just fine on my Bambu P1P
SPOOLS:
- Fits 5 Sunlu Spools
- I only tested the clearance of the lid with Sunlu spools. That is all I use. The clearance with the lid is tight so if you use larger spools, you might rub
