Description
A model of the solar system to scale. Originally designed for a Grade 12 project for an Earth & Space Science course to showcase the solar system. Could be painted by hand or with an MMU in PrusaSlicer to better distinguish the different planets. Also of note is that it is really large and so should be split into multiple parts and printed with fasteners which can be done in PrusaSlicer. Great teaching aid!
Scale for Planets’ Diameter: 1000 km = 1 mm
Scale for Planets’ Distance from the Surface of the Sun: 3 000 000 km = 1 mm
