Cup holder Arm for Toyota Sienna Part Number 55620-08050

I printed in PLA .20mm 60% infill on a Prusa Mini. I got the measurements from using digital calipers on the original part, modeling with SketchUp. The most noticeable difference from the original is that the edges aren't as smooth – I just created a 45-degree chamfer using SketchUp “follow-me”.

Model is for the right-side piece, just mirror it or whatever in a slicer program to get the left side. In the photo, the printed arm is on the right, and the original arm is on the left.

Would be fun to print it in a distracting color.

Removing the old piece and installing the new one goes something like this:

1. Phillips-head screwdriver to remove single bolt holding the arm in place, located under the arm at the pivot point
2. After the bolt drops down, the arm can be pulled straight out. Be cautious – a spring will then drop down from where the bolt would have run through the piece.
3. Examine the spring. It will have two legs coming out in opposite directions. Examine the printed arm – there is a hole in the claw-end for one of the spring legs to go in to. That hole will receive the leg on the bottom of the spring. The top leg of the spring needs to slide into and against the console unit casing. :fade: sorry for no photos of that part.
4. Insert the spring back into whereabouts the bolt will go through it. Ensure the top spring leg is pressing against the console casing internal. Push the new arm back into the unit, causing the spring to nest inside the arm claw. Work it until the bottom leg of the spring inserts into the receiving hole in the arm claw.
5. Holding the arm in place, re-insert the bolt, through the bottom of the claw arm, through the spring center, and up into the bolt hole in the casing. Tighten the screw, but not so much that the arm can't pivot anymore.
6. Profit.
