Wall hanger for IKEA Ruter ironing board

If you bought a IKEA Ruter Ironing board you are probably wondering where the heck you should put it. I live in a small house, therefore floor space is gold, which prompted me to make this super simple wall hanger for the Ruter board.

I left the screws at an angle and in plain sight mostly because I liked the look - it sacrifices a little in terms of theoretical strenght, but it is more than plenty strong to hold the board in place and it looks nice on the wall IMO. It tucks quite snugly against the wall and does not wobble at all - if you want more play just add a 3-5mm spacer between the wall and the wall hanger.

Print with high infill, on its head, with at least 3 walls and a brim. Supports are not needed, there is only a tiny bridging that any printer can handle.

I used PETG and no fan to maximise layer adhesion - worked very well and it feels unbreakable.

I mounted it directly against drywall without anchors, but if you want it to be more secure, use the holes in the board hanger itself as a drill guide so the angles match, apply wall anchors, and then use long screws to screw the hanger to the wall.
