Description
As can be seen in the images, the design consists of two models:
The whole geometry of the model is inspired by a napkin ring I had at home. The photos of the reference model are in their own section at the end of the post.
To give a better idea of the dimensions, here are those of the ring:
Printed in PLA, without rafts, at 0.2 mm resolution and 100% infill. Since the ring part needs to have some strength and is not very large, I recommend printing it solid.
Printing the parts is fairly straightforward:
As you know, the design does not include the flower. You can cut cardboard or fabric and shape it any way you want.
Once you have the leaves and the flower, you can glue the parts to the tip of the ring and attach the pistil on top of it all. If the tip is too long and leaves too much space between the parts, you can trim it.
For more durability, you can glue the pistil down into place.
