Front Interlock Bypass Tool for Epilog Helix Laser Cutter

This tool allows you to operate an Epilog Helix or similar laser cutter with the front door open. This is helpful during troubleshooting or when cutting long materials that do not fit on the bed of the laser.

Print two of these, with one mirrored. These tools snap into place using the existing front door magnets for support. Two small neodymium magnets activate the reed switches for the front door interlock.

Press a 6x3mm magnet in the round recess and two 4-40 hex nuts in the other two position.

This tool bypasses safety interlocks and may expose you to class IV laser radiation. Use this tool at your own risk. Follow safety precautions. Use laser rated safety goggles while operating the laser.
