Description
I love the BeerCounter models by Ruben Martins.
But it would be nice to collect or hold the bottle caps.
There're 2 options you can choose:
The pocket to put the magnets in is inside the part (green on screenshot), no optical differences between the original model when assembled.
The pocket is 2mm deep and 31mm long.
On assembly, insert and glue the magnets in before you add the BottleopenerCover part.
1mm wall thicknes for 2 extrusion lines (0.4mm nozzle) should be good to print.
If your magnets can't hold the bottle cap through the 1mm wall in the version mentioned above, this version can do the trick for you.
You glue the magnets directly on the outside of the part into the pocket (green on screenshot).
The pocket is 2mm deep, 21mm wide and 30mm long.
For optical purposes, I added a stp file for a plate that fits in the pocket, it's 2 x 20.8 x 29.8mm.
You can modify the stp file and add holes that fit your magnets you have.
Glue the plate with the magnets into the pocket and the part should have a nice look.
